Energy Tip

Use 100% post-consumer recycled copy paper for all your office and home printing.

Every ton replaced with recycled paper - that’s every 40 cases - saves the equivalent of:
  • 24 trees, forty feet in height and 6-8 inches in diameter PLUS
  • 7,000 gallons of water, 4,100 kilowatt hours of electricity, and 60 pounds of air pollution

Paper production accounts for 42% of the global wood harvest for industrial uses (everything but fuel wood), and this proportion is expected to grow by more than 50 percent in the next 50 years. That’s a lot of trees.

Local office supply companies carry 100% recycled paper starting at $40/case (5,000 sheets).
